Which activity or class did you attend? Half term clubs
my boys absolutley love this provision - the staff are super friendly, calming as well as able to understand the hyperness of some of my children and how best to utlise it! Recommend this to anyone I can as we have very limited tech at home - this way they are learning in a child friendly and engaging environment and it blows my mind at all the stuff they do and make each time! Andy has been lovely from the start and when we first joined last year it was a very difficult time for us as a family and he completley took the time to listen to concerns regarding my boys behaviour and the outside involvement we had to have for a short period of time. Andy has really got a lovely personailty that can handle anything a child throws at him - almost literally in my childrens case! lol - I admire his persistance in keeping the clubs running and cannot thank him enough! Julie has been within the school itself so has an amazing rapoor with all of the children and I absolutley love her! My boys all feel so comfortable and know exactly what to expect due to there previous eductaional & professional relationship with Julie. The 2 new ladies this week - it was lovely to see 2 more people that knew my children well enough to know the perfect boundaries and when not to push them! ha ha But also it was lovely to see how you were both smiling at the start AND the end of every day! Without clubs like this my 4 boys would be at a smilar club that was sports orientated - unfortunatley they are far from sports orientated so it felt so incredibly tough when they would battle me so much! unfortunatley as a single lone parent I do have to work - and working nights even during half terms means i still need childcare and one that is suitable for all of my boys needs! It is a challenging feet that these guys have delivered so amazingly on!! EVERY DAY THESE LAST 2 WEEKS THE BOYS HAVE LOVED COMING ...... and every afternoon they have been so chilled and easy to put to bed (bar one child but thats totally normal!) and I can see that they have been physically and mentally challenged in the most amazing way where they have not been confinde to a school environment and harsh struture but a guiding and gentle presence. My only gripe is that were not allowed to use the car park at nightingale Primary school - now if your paying for a hall and it's provisions surely that would be part of the provisions?? Just saying - it just seems a little ridiculous that not all of the facility can be operated to fully incorporate such an amazing opportunuity for local children! After being a part of this school for so long I have been desperate to find decent childcare that wraps around & includes half terms - with our family situation we have had some really tough times and I have lost/been pushed out of 3 previous jobs due to childcare commitments and this has been a bain of my life in being a lone parent! I mean schools are a fantastic hub for these provisions to be run alongside so that we can incorporate STEM for our children & finanicaial security for the parent/s it really is a no brainer!

Which activity or class did you attend? Half Term ComputerXplorers
This was the first time my son attended a club for half term and he really enjoyed it. There was a good mix of computer time and physical activities that got him mixing with a wide group of students making new friends. He came home really excited and asking if he can go back again for Easter. Will definitely be signing him up again in future he's very happy.

Which activity or class did you attend? Computer XPlorers Southampton
This was my little girls first Computer Xplorers holiday club and she loved it. She came home every night absolutely exhausted and bedtime was a breeze. She was so well looked after, mentally and physically stimulated and buzzing from the activities, which consisted of outdoor play, coding, indoor activities when the weather was bad and movie time. Really pleased we booked her in this Feb half term. Julie was so creative with ideas on entertainment, when the internet gave problems, and had the kids making robots out of boxes. There was always a fun, child friendly movie on and the activities were always noted on a board so the parents and children knew what to expect. Will definitely be booking future clubs.

The kids were asked make a house in Minecraft and that’s it. Hopefully it will be better next time.
