LAMDA Public Speaking
“We’ve had such a positive experience with The Drama Centre, particularly the LAMDA public speaking classes. My child is academically very bright, but has always found social interaction and communication quite challenging. This class has made a noticeable difference.
What I really value is the focus on real-life communication skills and not just performance, but how to express ideas clearly, speak with confidence, and engage with others. It’s easy to assume academic success is enough, but as parents we have to recognise that our children also need to navigate conversations, build relationships, and feel comfortable being heard.
The use of drama and LAMDA techniques is incredibly powerful. It gives children a safe, supportive environment to practise these skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable rather than pressured. I’ve seen my child grow in confidence week by week.
I would highly recommend The Drama Centre to any parent who wants to support their child not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. These are life skills that will stay with them forever.”

“We truly can’t thank The Drama Centre enough, especially James and Leanne, for the incredible support they’ve given our son.
For a long time, he felt like a misfit. We were told by so many places that “it’s not for him,” without any real understanding of his needs or who he is as a person. It was disheartening.
