Which activity or class did you attend? Thursday at Quedgeley
Boogie Beat with Jodie has become one of my daughter’s favourite parts of the week. The sessions are not only fun and engaging but Jodie’s warmth and enthusiasm has created such a lovely little community of people, big and small. Thank you for your dedication Jodie. We love our sessions with you.

Which activity or class did you attend? Taphouse boogie beat
We had such a fantastic time at Boogie Beat! My son absolutely loved the session, especially acting out the story along to the music. At the start, he got a little overwhelmed, and we were so grateful for the ear defenders that were offered. They made such a difference in helping him feel comfortable and enjoy the rest of the session. Instructor was great! She was so friendly and approachable, and she made sure every child felt included and supported. We can’t wait to come back for more fun with Boogie Beat!

My granddaughter really enjoyed it and I believe she would get a lot out of the classes. Unfortunately class is full at the moment but hope to go again should a space become available. Jodie was excellent!

Which activity or class did you attend? Boogie beats
It was only our first time but I was expecting abit more boogie and a bit more beats (something abit more wild/disco/ expressive dance, hands on with instruments and drumming )... it was just another sing song class that we could get at the library with a few mums chatting the hole way through while the host tried to relay intructions... hope the next few weeks pick up

Thank you so much for joining us for your first Boogie Beat session and for taking the time to share your feedback! I'm sorry to hear that it didn't quite meet your expectations this time around. We strive to create an experience that blends fun, energy, and interactive music and movement, while also considering the varying needs of the group on the day. I understand you were hoping for something more like a wild/disco-style class with more hands-on drumming, but just to clarify, we don't advertise Boogie Beat as a disco-style activity. Our focus is on combining traditional stories, songs, and dance with expressive movement and fun, with plenty of interactive elements like musical instruments. That said, I truly appreciate your suggestion for more variety, and I’ll be sure to consider incorporating more upbeat and hands-on moments in future sessions! I hope you and your little one will continue to join us and see how each week evolves. Thanks again, and I really hope to see you both in upcoming sessions as we continue to explore, dance, and create lots of fun together!

A beautiful class lead by a dedicated lady. Jodie was on hand to help out with twins to ensure both boys could participate. They had an absolute blast, dancing and juggling to the songs and chasing the balls around the room! We will definitely be returning for more Boogie Beat Music. Thank you for having us!
