The class provided an opportunity for my son to learn in a calm and welcoming environment. We booked another class as soon as this one ended as he responded far better in class than he does when we try to teach him.”

“My daughter was adamant she didn’t want to ride her bigger bike but after encouraging her to attend a cycle buddies session she changed her mind. Dannie was brilliant along with her assistant. They were very encouraging, went through all the stages of learning how to use the bike and balance on the bike to riding around freely within 30 mins of being there!!! Would highly recommend to any child needing that extra confidence to cycle. She even received a log book and medal at the end as she has already achieved all the stages to ride independently!!! Thank you!”

“As my son was approaching 10 and had an awful fear if riding a bike and hurting himself I wad at my wits end with helping him after trying everything we could. We signed him up for a couple of lessons to help him and by the end of the second lesson he was off peddling around . He has been out on his bike daily to practice with myself and the dog practically jogging aloong to try and keep up. I can't fault these ladies and what they do. I don't know how they do it or what magic they use but it works. Can not recommend them enough.”
“We booked a session with Dannie at Cycle Buddies after trying to teach our little girl to ride her bike ourselves. She could just about stay upright, but only if we were running alongside her — very wobbly and not fully confident.
From the very first session, Dannie went back to basics in a really thoughtful way — things we hadn’t even considered, like walking with the bike and learning how to get on and off properly. By the second session, our daughter was confidently riding on her own, starting and stopping without any support at all.
We were genuinely blown away by the progress. The calm, supportive approach and step-by-step teaching really worked. Highly recommend for any parent who’s feeling stuck trying to teach their child on their own!”
