“I have purchased all flavours of the high protein almond butters, and my opinions on each vary greatly. Right off the bat, I will say I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the lemon cookie butter; it tastes exactly like lemon oreos, which are without a doubt my favourite snack and I could eat them for days. The apple pie flavour is pretty dang good as well, especially when I add a tablespoon to my oatmeal. It has a nice, subtle apple flavour that makes me think of autumn, it is very comforting. Cinnamon crunch cereal is pretty good, a little on the sweet side but pretty similar tasting to cinnamon toast crunch, and I can happily eat a spoonful or two. Frosted animal cookie tasted very similar to cinnamon crunch cereal, though even sweeter. Crunch berry cereal is probably my least favourite, and I get a burning in the back of my throat every time I eat it. All of the flavours are very smooth for almond butters, but not creamy in the way you might think of JIF peanut butter. I will definitely order lemon cookie butter on the regular, cinnamon crunch cereal and apple pie now and then, and probably hold off on animal cookie and crunch berry cereal in the future.”
“I received my two Bowmar Nut Butters yesterday, and immediately had to grab a spoonful of both flavors: Crunch Berry, and Frosted Cookie Cashew. OMG, YUM! I LOVED Crunch Berries as a kid, but I wasn't sure how that would translate to an almond butter. The flavor and little bit of cereal texture are so yummy!!! I'm thinking I might try this spread on a banana next...or I might just eat another spoonful out of the jar again! The Frosted Cookie Cashew was super smooth and creamy, with bits of cookie in it--loved it!”
