“A few days before the butter was launched a “corny” hint towards the flavor was posted on Instagram. I thought for sure in spirit of Halloween, it would be candy corn and when cornbread was announced I was a little skeptical! How could one capture the taste of cornbread and make it desirable? I waited to order until watching the Bowmar athletes do taste tests on Instagram. As soon as one girl said there was almost a component of coconut, I was convinced. I couldn’t wait to try! Now that I’ve had it for about a week and tried several times, I can say that it tastes more like banana bread with honey. I draw more sweetness from it than a savory cornbread. It’s not too overpowering and leaves you wanting more. The consistency is neither too runny nor gritty. It’s just right and spreads on smoothly. It smells so yummy too. Definitely my first of many butters from Bowmar and I can’t wait to try more!”
