“After reading all the 5-star reviews I bought this and I'm a little on the fence. The taste is spot-on, just like chocolate milk. The only issue is that it's gritty. Not clumpy, but like sand. I'm mixing it with Fairlife milk in a Vitamix so the problem is not that I'm not mixing it well or thoroughly, and this is my third serving. Not sure if it's just this batch or if it's always like this. It's certainly not bad enough not to use it, but I just find it interesting that I've not had this problem with any other brand of protein powder. On the other hand, I tried their greens powder and it is fabulous.”
“This protein powder taste like liquid chocolate, it is phenomenal! It has a taste of being exactly like hot chocolate with marshmallows!! This is definitely my second favorite flavor! I usually mix it with almond milk or 2% milk, it even taste great with water! If you aren’t buying this flavor, your missing out!! P.S. waffles with this flavor are bomb”

“As a lover of hot chocolate I had to try this and I don’t regret it! Is it the best hot chocolate i’ve ever had? No, but it also is a quality hot chocolate taste and DOES NOT taste like protein at all! That is the part that separates them from the rest (because honestly most chocolate flavors taste like dirt). What I love is that I can have “guilt free” hot chocolate that is filling. Lastly what impressed me the most was the customer service, good detailed updates on when the product would arrive. When I first used it I mixed it with boiling water and milk (which is how I usually make hc) lol it separated but when I messaged Sarah on Instagram she literally responded in minutes and helped me, which I don’t think any other competitor would ever do! I’ve found the best combo for using it as hot chocolate was warm milk and a little water. I tried a few of the recipes using the phc to make waffles or shakes which I personally didn’t like but for a warm cup of hot chocolate it’s perfect!”

“This Hot Chocolate protein is good, definitely beats ANY competitors' chocolate protein flavor, and tastes like hot chocolate!!! When I first got it I took a smell of it after getting it mixed with water and was a little dismayed because it smelled like other protein chocolates that's I've tried, yet when I drank it, I got the taste of hot chocolate!! Good!! Do yourself a favor and take a look at Blueberry Cheesecake as well, it's another one that tastes exactly like what it says!”
