“This stuff makes me sick. Literally. I hate the way it tastes. I can't hardly stand it. Takes me 15 min after every workout to work up the courage to take a sip. The other day post workout I went for my daily torture session and sat in front of a container of whey and just stared at it ready to let it take my soul. When my courage was fully charged I popped it open and took a sniff and........ nothing. I thought maybe my courage and toughness had finally come full circle. I wasn't a bi___ anymore!!! So I blended it up, held my breath, plugged my nose, took a sip and...... nothing. I couldn't believe it. so I chugged the whole thing, just threw it back. And when I was finished, I couldn't taste anything. it was a miracle. then I realized.... my sense of taste and smell had abandoned me. A classic symptom of COVID. So I went to the emergency room ASAP and got a rapid result test and low and behold, I tested positive. I had the VID.
Anyway, all this to say I hate the taste of this whey protein, and the day I realized I didn't hate it I was able to recognize I had COVID-19. Your protein literally saved my life!!!!!!!”
“I ordered a sample size of the mint chocolate chip protein powder. While the consistency of the protein was great, I had a hard time tasting the mint. Tasted like regular chocolate to me which was slightly disappointing. Not sure if I had a bad sample? I would order protein powder again from Bowmar Nutrition, but probably not this flavor.”
