Very nice chips. Finish has a nice texture that keeps them from sliding all over and keeps them stacked nicely.

These are better than I expected! The colors are great and very vibrant for ceramic chips. The design fits the Star Wars theme perfectly. All the chips lay flat and appear to be very durable. I have a 600 chip set in my cart waiting for any sales in the near future.

The designs are crisp and clean. The colors pictured are not the colors I received - nominally the same but decidedly a more faded appearance. I do not know if this is normal, a function of a sample set that was exposed to too much sunlight, the lighting used in the pictures, time (age of the sample set), the printing process, or something else entirely. My best guess is that the 'finish' that allows for a good feel may be what the fade is about. The difference between picture and product is the entire reason that this receives 4 and not 5 stars. By chance, I actually like them both ways, but if you are looking for the vibrance in chips that the picture shows, this may not be a set for you. The image quality on each chip is exceptional, and edge printing is clear (both for the denomination and design/marks) The chips feel exceptional with completely flat surfaces (no center indent). The edges are ever so slightly rounded, preventing a chip from standing on edge. The chips stack and slide well, and sound delightful. I am not skilled enough at chip shuffling to tell whether the inability is mine or due to chip design. By preference, BRPro would have included a quarter denomination instead of a blank chip in the 'standard' design, given that custom denominations are at a cost, but that is simply a personal opinion.

I am not an expert in poker chips. I do not have multiple sets. I know what I like, and will attempt to elaborate on that. These chips are, in fact, excellent. They have a nice linen finish to the top and bottom which makes the chip have an excellent tactile feel, which also stops the slippery or tacky feeling which might occur on a perfectly smooth chip. The edges are smooth with what feels like a slightly beveled edge. The tops and bottoms are also excellently smooth and even. There are no spinners, and when pressing on the side of a stack of chips, the chips stay absolutely dead level. The chips feel 'light' compared to the heavier metal slug style chips, but maintain absolutely the weight promised, 10g +/- 0.2g They play excellently on a surface and stack well without sipping or falling. They have a "lighter" sound when clinking together, very much like you might hear from a china cup hitting a dish. The colors look muted and 'matte' compared to the official color patterns, due to the linen finish. I might even describe them as looking 'dusty'. This is a small trade-off to maintain an excellent and enjoyable 'finger feel' when touching the chips.
