“I was given my engagement band in January 2011, noticing that the shade of the 18k yellow gold seemed slightly off, but chalked it up to it being recycled. I thought it strange that there was no BE stamp inside the band. Then in June 2011 we ordered my wedding band from BE, a 3mm 18k yellow gold comfort fit band, and when it arrived the difference in the colors of the 18k yellow gold was night and day. BE promptly had me send both rings back to math, but still tried to place some blame on me- not ordering at the same time (not in my power when I'm being proposed to!), that color can change (where are your standards, BE? make them! I would never have this problem elsewhere) and I had to pay a refurbishment fee[...] for my old ring. Sorry to whoever gets sold that one. The rings are now okay, but I would not trust buying from BE ever again, nor would I recommend them. My diamond is gorgeous, but this lack of quality standards in the bands is unheard of and truly disappointing and frustrating.”
