“I LOVE my ring. It is the ring I always wanted, and finally it's mine after 15 years with my husband. It is so beautiful, but... I have had it 1 month and one of the small diamonds in my band fell out. This is understandable, however, when I called seeking a resolution, I was informed that I would have to first mail the ring to them, then after approximately a week they would do an inspection and then let me know whether or not it is covered under warranty as ""regular wear and tear"" is not covered under their warranty. I understand wear and tear, but it's a brand new ring. Next, if I chose to go ahead with the repair following receiving the warranty approval or repair estimate, the work would be completed in approximately 3 weeks, so in short, I will be without my ring for about a month. I suggested getting it repaired locally, but apparently that voids their lifetime warranty. I'm kind of bummed but not completely. I just think there could be a better and more timely process for repairs.”
“This is a 1 time purchase. A purchase of well over $5,000. A purchase that you have probably been thinking about your whole life. You save up and save up to be able to buy a diamond ring and ask the person of your dreams to marry you. You walk into Brilliant Earth (LJ) and there isn't the faintest scent that they give 1 care about this. They never learned my name, never once treated me with the hopes of developing (at the very least) a business/client relationship. Sure, the ring and diamond are beautiful. But purely based on the non-existent customer service, I would never recommend anyone to come here. Now let's begin my story: It's clear they want business. From the first time you visit their website, you are pummeled by retargeted advertising on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and more until the end the time. God forbid any type discretion. Fine. Ok. Also, my Fiance had mentioned how beautiful she thought the rings were at BE, not to mention conflict free. I get it. This is it. I'll go. I find the perfect diamond on their site. To even view it in person, I have to put down a 50% deposit. It's that perfect. I do it. I ask to have 4 or 5 different rocks there when I come to view it in person to compare. While I was assured the diamonds would be there, they weren't. When I completed the purchase of my diamond from this company that primarily works on the internet, I received a non-itemized paper receipt. No email. I had to ask for an itemized email receipt a week later to get one. Then I'm asking myself, why is it that when I spend $8.99 on a sandwich at Corner Bakery I instantly receive an email receipt. But not one when I spend over $6K with an internet based company? My issue isn't with the employees, it's the way the company is set up for customer service failure. These people aren't on commission. So why would they care or want to attempt to make a pleasant experience? I have much much more to say. But I'm running out of space. - Ring took 4 weeks to resiz”
“This ring had the beautiful diamond and style I ordered, although it came with the band itself slightly bent. So we have had to send it back to get repairs (and a free resize). Luckily the Brilliant Earth team is fixing it free of charge as should be expected. It was surprising to us that the ring made its way out of the facilities with a bent band.
My fiance loves it, which is the key!”
“Beautiful ring. So simple yet so elegant. It fits my fiance's personality so perfectly. A special thank you Jen Crowe and thank you Brilliant Earth for the perfect ring.”
“I love my engagement ring. As others have mentioned, the band is VERY thin and delicate but that is exactly what I wanted as it allows the center diamond to really be the focal point. It sits very high but that does not bother me either. I've been wearing it for about 6 weeks now and I have not had any issues with it (i.e. no diamonds have fallen out). For reference, the center diamond is a round 2.62 carat stone.”
“This ring is absolutely beautiful. It is a classic design that will not go out of style, but is well designed to still be interesting. My fiancee absolutely loves it and receives compliments frequently. For reference, stone is 1.76 Carat, Super Ideal Cut, H Color, VVS2 Clarity. The stone is stunning and stands out from many others. Excellent customer service helped us select the perfect diamond.”
