“Fiance and I looked at a bunch of places and decided on Brilliant Earth due to its great selection and beyond-conflict and environmental standards (also rad that the company has a lady co-founder!). We were a bit nervous about choosing BE at first because we'd read a few negative yelp reviews about customer service. Fiance wound up visiting the Los Angeles store on a business trip to touch base with someone personally. After that we felt much more secure about BE and took the plunge. We couldn't be happier with the products--both his and my ring are beautifully crafted and fit perfectly. The only hiccup had to do with shipping communication--we created separate accounts because we wanted to surprise each other (I ordered his ring, he ordered mine, and we both proposed but at different times in different ways). But because we share the same address, BE accidentally sent my shipping confirmations to him and his shipping confirmations to me! I called BE and they apologized, made it up to me, and promised they were taking real and immediate steps to ensure this did not happen to future customers without their consent. I was satisfied with their response. I got the impression that this is a new company growing quickly--they may make mistakes along the way, but they take their customers' feedback seriously and want to do right by them. We're so happy with our decision!

“This ring is very lightweight, with a thin band that is very feminine. This ring is very classy for someone who appreciates a simple style with an elegant touch. The diamond does not stick out much from the ring and from your finger, so the ring does not get caught on sleeves/clothing and is less likely to bump into or scratch something. However, keep in mind that a round wedding band may not go well with this engagement ring, since the oval diamond will prevent a wedding band from perfectly hugging the engagement ring. My wife chose the White Gold Flair Diamond Ring which beautifully pairs with the Aria. However, some women may prefer a more traditional wedding band that may not fit well with the Aria due to the shape of its setting.”
