I received the ring yesterday, only to open it and discover that the oval diamond is set CROOKEDLY in the setting. For the amount of money anyone is spending on a ring, you would think that they would get this right before it goes out the door.
I called them today to find out what could be done. Long story short, they say I need to ship it off again for them to assess what needs to be done. But get this: They said they would do me the courtesy of "waving the $50 maintenance fee." Um, what? You mean you normally charge your customer for your shoddy workmanship to be fixed and add ANOTHER three weeks? This is totally unacceptable, and makes me highly regret purchasing from Brilliant Earth. So now I have to wait EVEN LONGER than the time it took between purchase and delivery.”
“This is my engagement ring and it was purchased in rose gold with a round moissanite center stone. My fiance and I had looked at rings and I knew this was the one for me. It's simple but unique and a bit vintage. To keep some element of surprise, he knew the setting I wanted but he picked the center stone. When he proposed with it, I was not only in complete shock/surprise, but I was also in total awe of how beautiful it was. The side stones are diamonds and the center stone is moissanite but they look great together. Very happy!”
