“I received my platinum Elle ring with a 1.23 carat oval lab diamond (color F,VS2) and it's absolutely perfect! My ring size is a 4.75. I've been married for 13 years, but I don't wear my original set. It's very thick and I don't like the feeling of rings, particularly when I make a fist. A couple years ago, I discovered BE and ordered an eternity band (ballad); very comfortable and it's held up extremely well in my active lifestyle. So I started looking at solitaire settings for an anniversary upgrade. Made an appointment and had the best experience picking out a setting/diamond... I wanted the thinnest, lowest-sitting solitaire setting with an oval diamond. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable/personable. She didn't try to steer me in one direction or the other. Her only objective seemed to be finding what I wanted - within our budget. It was just me, an approachable expert, and a quiet showroom of probably 100 different settings (which she narrowed down to 3) to choose from. Beforehand, I did a lot of research about lab vs. natural diamonds and found it's a great option both for price and history of the diamond. Plus, both have the same physical and chemical characteristics so that was an easy choice. I can also tell you I ran these specs for a natural diamond, and it was about $10,000 more...which brings me to raving about this website and how accessible it is. Very helpful being able to build different rings/diamond combinations and compare prices. Great experience overall and I couldn't be happier with my new upgraded wedding ring. I'm keeping my original husband though... he's perfect as is! ;)”
