He opted for the Catalina instead with a 2.55 carat diamond and OMG I never want to take it off. It is very beautiful, classy, stunning and very expensive looking. The six prongs give it just a touch of extra detail while securing the diamond. MUST BUY!”
“My fiance purchased this ring while there was a promo, so I was supposed to receive a pair of white gold diamond earrings. But my ears are not pierced, so the sales rep said they can send me a necklace instead. First, this complimentary necklace arrived almost a month after the ring had already arrived. So I was not pleased with the delay. Second, and most importantly... the necklace is so ugly. Wish I had received the studs instead even though I don't have my ears pierced. The necklace looks like a Tiffany open heart knock off but... not pretty. While one side of the pendant has some design elements to it, the other side (back) looks unfinished. But due to the shape of the pendant, it is bound to flip back and forth. So half the time, this necklace pendant will look like a undone piece of metal. Plus, the necklace came with some tarnish spots. My impression of Brilliant Earth as a brand was good when I received the ring, but after this complimentary necklace, the brand seems cheap...”

“This ring is stunning, especially in platinum. The simplicity of the setting and it being a solitaire are what make it so star-like and twinkly, with light shining in from all directions and no distractions from the diamond. I think that it is particularly well-suited for the size of diamond (1.5 carats) based on the proportion of diamond to width of the band. The band itself is graceful because it tapers slightly at the diamond, accenting it further and giving the band dimension. Bands that are straight with no taper/shape look bland, 2-dimensional, and cheap, which this ring certainly does not! The thickness is also perfect, it is sturdy and substantial but not bulky such that it forces the fingers apart. Rather, it sits comfortably and allows closure of the fingers, so can be worn while using hands. In my opinion, nothing can compare to the grandness of a well-designed simple solitaire.”

“Absolutely love my engagement ring. Pictures do not do it justice. My now fiance picked out the setting and I was worried that the band would be too thick for my smaller (size 5) finger- absolutely not. I can't imagine having a thinner band- I think it would feel too fragile. The band is tapered at that stone- this highlights the stone beautifully and holds the diamond perfectly.”
