My fiance and I bought the comfort fit rings for our wedding in June, so I have not used it on the day to day, but we are impressed with the craftsmanship. “This ring we purchased for me since I got my wife's engagement ring at BE. The ring is bright and shiny, and a well produced 18k ring. Not being a ring guy, I knew i wanted comfort fit b/c of the classic look. The ring has proven to be enjoyable to wear and I get compliments on the look in the 6mm size.
One big thing that irks me is that this ring should NOT be marketed as a comfort fit ring. I didn't realize this until after we purchased the ring without seeing it in person. A comfort fit ring is required to have a domed inside surface to qualify as a comfort fit ring. This ring does NOT have a domed inside surface, it does have a slightly rounded edge on the inside, but that's it. There is a dome on the outside of the ring but that doesn't qualify it as a comfort ring. There are comfort fit rings with flat outside surfaces to prove this point.
The inside domed surface for a comfort fit ring requires more material to build up the dome, so my guess is BE wanted to save that money. To their credit, 18k gold is more per ounce than your typical 14k you receive in wedding bands, so that could be another reason.
Overall the combination of attention to detail, quality materials, and excellent customer service would lead me to recommend someone purchase this ring. If you want a real true comfort fit ring, i would search elsewhere.”

“I bought this ring when my wife and I went into Brilliant Earth together to try on wedding rings. I had not put much research into it beforehand, as I had never worn a ring before ever and wanted to try things on as a first step. To my surprise I found one I like a lot on my first go, so I purchased it on the spot. My assumption was that it was a simple ring so it would be priced within reason relative to market. I found out later, after having a miserable customer service experience trying to swap out sizes, that the ring was priced at approximately x2 the competition. Don't shop at Brilliant Earth. It's overpriced, the customer service is miserable, and their show room in SF looks like someone bought a few ikea desks, rented out an old apartment, and decided to open a jewelry store inside. When paying premium prices you expect premium products and service. Having visited other jewelry shops, Brilliant Earth is more of a Goodwill experience than Nordstrom.”
