I would not recommend Brilliant Earth as they lost my engagement ring. I received email updates for my order after purchase, including the order number and delivery information. I had a couple questions about the order (long after I had paid), so I called to ask and confirm delivery. On the phone, the support team could not find my order whatsoever, and I had to work with them for hours over the phone, multiple times. I then was forced to follow up when I never received an email response or call. The issue was resolved on my fifth call with them. Because of this issue, I cannot recommend my friends to BE, especially for large purchases considering they will lose your order.
Also, my fiance is a man. Over the phone they called him a "her", out of assumption. That was only awkward because I had to give them his name and contact info so he could pick up the order after delivery...”
“Received the platinum ring. It had several marks on it that looked like something we could polish off. Unfortunately, we couldn't. That ring was sent back and another ordered. The replacement had the same (smudges?), but not quite as many.”
“My husband and I recently got married (less than 2 weeks ago) and he started noticing scratches on the matte finish after only a few days. We got the platinum matte finish thinking it wouldn't show scratches as easily but it might actually be worse because now its shiny where the scratches are which is a contrast from the matte. He still likes how the ring looks from afar but he's disappointed that its so scratched and is constantly turning the most scratched side of his ring to face down.”
