“The ring itself is classic and elegant. I do not typically wear jewelry, so sizing was a new question for me. My partner and I visited a brick-and-mortar jewelry store to try on rings of various sizes prior to our wedding; I left under the impression that I would order a 9.5 ring from Brilliant Earth. (We also received BE's complimentary ring-sizer, which didn't seem to suggest ordering a different size.) The 9.5 ring that arrived would fit onto my finger, but it was uncomfortably tight. I sent the 9.5 back to be resized to a 10, which has been simply perfect. I suppose that it's possible for BE's rings to run a little on the small side in terms of sizing, although I'm not sure that my experience says anything definitive about that. Being a platinum ring, it does scratch somewhat (as all platinum rings would), but I generally don't wear it when I'm working on intense activities (e.g., yardwork, at the gym) so it's held up very well without needing to be cleaned.”
