“I like this but the process was miserable getting this ring with my fiance's ring. Mine came out fine but we purchased ours together and his was completely messed up multiple times with no apologies, so this is not a great place to purchase couple's rings.”
“I got this to go with a 9mm pear shaped center stone. It would never lay right. There was a huge gap between the two rings because the center stone was big. This ring was a suggested pairing for the engagement ring I purchased. They were shipped separately. Way too much packaging. It looked like a jeweler never looked at them together. For how much I spent on the set, it's kind of an important detail. This ring is not meant for 9mm center stones.”
“The ring I received barely has a curve. The band itself is beautiful, but I was hoping for a more pronounced curve. No option to get it altered by Brilliant Earth, only to exchange it for a custom made ring starting at $2,000. That's a little steep for a 2 mm platinum band. See photo”
“This band is simple yet elegant and pairs nicely with the Elena engagement ring. I really like the smooth vs. diamond contrast of the two rings together. Five stars if you only want the band.
However, if you're considering getting it engraved in script, don't. The band is very thin so the text looks like an illegible smudge. Also note that the script used in the online preview (Lucida Calligraphy) is very different from what you get (my best guess is Kunstler Script). Hard to tell since the letters are a blob. I wish it wasn't offered as an option for this band or that a rep had an example to show in person.”
