“Bought this as a replacement wedding ring in nov 2020. I wear it everyday. Big disappointment in quality. While I can understand that the polish wears off and ring will sustain dents, it snapped between two of diamonds. Though the ring is beautiful, Big disappointment in quality as it didn't last even 2 years.”
“I drooled over this ring for years. 11 years of marriage and 3 kids later finally went to the Seattle BE showroom. Got great customer care (even though I brought my little ones in with me on a Saturday without an appointment) and tried it on to get a feel. My spouse called in the order easy peasy. 2 weeks later I have a gorgeous stacking/anniversary/push/birthday ring. It's the little things.”
“My fiance and I bought this as my wedding band, and I could not be more in love with it! It pairs beautifully with my Demi engagement ring, and the dips along the edge allow the two rings to rest comfortably against each other with no annoying gap. I'm truly in love with this band and cannot wait to wear it forever!”
“TL;DR version: Only buy a solid band from BE; The warranty doesn't actually cover anything I bought this while at the Denver showroom prior to my wedding in 2019. I was sized by the Brilliant Earth specialist. Of course, I didn't get to wear it until September 2019 after my wedding. Fast-forward to October 2020 and my ring split. You might be thinking that I am rougher than I should be or wearing it when I shouldn't be. I can confirm a few things here: I do not wear my ring to sleep, to shower, to work out, while holding anything particularly heavy that would cause stress. I also work at a computer all day from home (have since pre-covid). I send my ring out as it states that it should be covered under the warranty since it is not ""normal wear and tear."" So, I get a call today (Nov 2020) to review with a repair specialist. She has the gall to tell me that the ring is too big for me (reminder: I was sized at BE in person and can confirm that if anything maybe the ring is .25 too snug). She then proceeds to tell me that the warranty only covers when the ring arrives to you. In the end, I can only assume that the quality behind BE is not as high as they claim to be. Think of it this way, if it was higher, you'd have less repairs and then more likely to cover those repairs under the warranty. With the lower quality that it has proven to be, there will be more repairs and thus costly to the company's bottom line, which is turn leads to much less quality related issues being covered by said-warranty. After all was said and done, I asked for the ring to be sent back to me. I'd rather send to a local jeweler and support their business while also knowing they will provide better customer service and a higher quality repair than what BE is able to dole out. I have my engagement ring (same size, too) and my husband's wedding band all from BE. The two are both solid bands in which we haven't had any issues.”
“I have TINY fingers so I was worried it would be too much, but the details are so fine and delicate! I can't believe the attention to detail in the craftsmanship! It would look great on any size, but if you want it to pop if you have larger fingers, I would get the 1/3 carat.
The only con is that at first, the outside of the ring was a little scratchy. So if I ran my other hand over the ring, it would be a little scratchy. After a month, that has dulled down significantly! In another month it won't be an issue!”
