Then I noticed one of the diamonds was missing. I called Brilliant Earth and they sent me a FedEx label to send it to them. They told me it would cost $400 to replace the single diamond and strengthen the other tines to ensure other diamonds didn't fall out (for a $1000 ring). I told them it isn't worth it to spend 40% of the ring's cost every five years to repair it so they said they would repair it for $150. I agreed and now 4 months later another of the diamonds has fallen out. At this rate, this ring would cost many thousands of dollars to maintain over the life of my marriage. I wore it everyday but I work as a lawyer, not in construction. Seems like it should be more durable.”
