“Absolutely stunning engagement ring for my fiance. The shine is beautiful and everything I wanted in a ring. However, I bought in august 2022 - now I am able to literally spin the diamonds that are in place. We are so lucky to have noticed this before losing one of the diamonds. I honestly expected better - as we are just approaching the one year mark. I would have been so sad and upset if one were to have fallen out and gotten lost. My engagement ring also came from brilliant earth and I did not have this problem - although I have a solitaire ring. I am not sure if this was just a fluke thing or if it is consistent with any one else's experience. The reason I am giving 3/5 stars is because of the lack of securement after only one year.”
“Ordered a 5 stone 1.5ctw ring. Customer service was very tough to get ahold of and they rarely new the answer to questions without having to ask a supervisor. I did eventually get one to tell me the cut of the diamonds (not specified on the website). He said they would be ""ideal or super ideal"". When we received the ring I could pretty quickly tell the diamonds were set at uneven heights. Our insurance company wanted the ring appraised prior to insuring since they were not GIA certified. I was shocked to see the result of the appraisal: I have several concerns. 1. The color of the diamonds I thought I was buying were F/G. These are slightly more yellow at I 2. The clarity was supposed to be SI. These ranged all the way up to I 3. The carat weight was supposed to be a minimum of 1.45, it was significantly lower at 1.32 4. The cut was graded as ""fair"" I realize that the appraisal was limited due to the jeweler having to appraise the diamonds in the ring, but I didn't anticipate there being such a variance. While setting may affect the color in a yellow gold setting, it shouldn't;t make inclusions appear. When I contacted customer service all they would saw was it was a ""difference of opinion"". They offered not other explanation. Since the return period starts 30 days after it is shipped and ends when it is received, I had to rapidly return the ring and nearly missed the cutoff. They did do a reasonable job of helping with the return. So in the end, I had no ring, was bitter to the process and was out $75 for the appraisal. Ended up buying GIA certified diamonds that were larger and at a lower price with a larger online company with far better customer service.”
