“.As this was a gift for my wife's 60th bday,I thought a nice diamond necklace would be a great gift. (Diamonds are the traditional gift for a 60th bday). I ordered a nice 1 carat diamond and 18 in chain. Website was very easy to use and order was placed and delivered seamlessly. On her bday, we had reservations for dinner and I wanted her to be able to wear new gift. Unfortunately, when she tried on, necklace was too short and she was unable to comfortably wear.(Unusual as chain was the same size as all of the other necklaces that I have purchased for her.) when we arrived back home(went out of town for celebration) I called brilliant earth to see if they could extend chain. While on phone w cs agent I decided to get tape measure and check chain length, turns out chain that was supposed to be 18 inches, was actually 16 inches. Customer service issued a return authorization and I sent back necklace. Heard from them 2 days later and was notified that it was a warrantable repair,1 week later and I have no idea what is going on. While I absolutely love the concept(s) from this company, execution is not meeting my expectations. A very joyous event was turned sour due to her not being able to wear on her evening. Now I'm left wondering when she will be able to wear and whether I will ever do business with Brilliant Earth again.”
