Thank you for your feedback. Our brushes can seem a little tricky at first, but then once people get the hang of it they usually love them. If you know the brush is in the "open" position (bottom cartridge rotated to the left and clicked into place) and you have flicked the brush a couple times to get the powder moving, then the best way to see the powder is being applied is to start with the back of one of your hands. Buff the powder on your hand, just as you would on ½ of your face (about 15 seconds and in a circular motion). After doing this, compare the back of your hand to your other hand. You will be able to see the difference, that means the powder is there. If you are still not sure, feel free to reach out to us for assistance!
