Hi Jenny! Our mineral powder are designed to be stand alone sunscreen, and are FDA tested to provide the coverage listed when applied as directed. To achieve complete and even coverage, divide areas up into smaller sections, like 1/2-face, and with the brush in the open position apply by buffing in circular motions for about 15-seconds before moving to the next section. Be sure to reapply at least every two hours in the sun and immediately after toweling off. Please also check out our "How-To" page to learn more about your brush.
