VertDesk v3 Standing Desk with Butch Block Desk Top Reviews

5 Rating 2 Reviews
Probably like you, I did a lot of research on sitting-standing adjustable desks. To summarize my research, the main thing I want to say is the warranty and customer service that BTOD offers is the best in the industry. You will not find a better quality product, warranty, and customer support. Go look at all the reviews that BTOD's owner, Greg, did on the components that competitors use for adjustable desks. Having the best is very assuring. Initially I ordered a desk from a competitor. It was a nightmare from poor customer service to major delivery issues. Thankfully, that disruption gave me the opportunity to return it and do a bit more research.... that's when I settled on BTOD. There's a lot of desks in this industry. Warranty, quality, and customer support truly matters in this space. I've been there. I got the butcher block, 30" x 72". I have two 32" 4k monitors along with a 23" monitor turned vertical. I have speakers on my desk along with knick knacks, and toys that my son is constantly putting on it. It's wide enough for my monitors, full size keyboard w/ mouse, and room for papers. I will never go back to a smaller desk. I'm more productive with the 3 monitors and room to move docs around on my desk. The big plus, is the ability to sit and stand at various positions. I use a chair for low height and a stool. It's great having the 4 preset levels because I use every one of them every day. When it's time for productivity work, client work, home schooling my son, or when my wife and I do shared online research, this desk is perfect. We love the butcher block. I prefer the look of natural wood instead of stained. As you know, there are various stained options that look great. Big applause to Nick Leair with BTOD. He answered all of my questions and sent me enough samples to make the right decision. He was never pushy and graceful with walking me through the process. There were very minor issues which Leslie LaChapelle and April Roehm for addressed very quickly. They are the standard for customer service. I'll post photos if there's an option. Love this desk. When we move into a bigger house, I'll get one for my wife.

After an extensive review of height-adjustable desks I decided to order the Vertdesk v3 with butcher block top because I like the touch and looks of real wood. The main decision drivers were the advertised stability of the desk when fully extended, transparency about the suppliers of the main parts and that the material was sourced locally. The desk shipped about 3 weeks after online ordering as indicated. Prior to home delivery, I received a call from FedEx ground to schedule the delivery and about an hour before delivery, I received another call from a super nice FedEx delivery man to confirm the delivery. The desk and accessories came on a pallet, meticulously secured and wrapped. Installation was a breeze and took me about 45 min thanks to clear instructions. Be prepared to drill your own holes if you opted for the optional horizontal wire management. I am very impressed with the quality of the smoothly finished desktop, the beautiful looks of maple wood. The legs are nicely finished in matte black. Not a single scratch, just the highest quality product. The desk moves up and down quickly and the programmable switch was easy to program. Even fully extended, the desk is rock solid. Before buying, I was concerned that the stabilizing cross bar may get in the way of my feet (I am 6'2''), but this is absolutely not the case. The lifting motor, compared to my desk in the office, is a bit on the louder side, but not much and not to a degree it would bother me. Overall, a 5-star shopping experience and I feel good about giving a US company an opportunity to compete with cheaply manufactured products from overseas that come with a high carbon footprint. Well done BTOD and K+M.
