ERA Galaxy Big and Tall Intensive Use Office Chair 400 lbs Rating Reviews

4.3 Rating 4 Reviews
This chair is excellent. My only issue with it is the height. I am 6'2" and ordered the standard cylinder length. When assembled, my feet barely touched the floor. Customer service was great, and they quickly sent me the smallest 2 1/2" cylinder. The website says that the smallest cylinder is for those people 5'6" or shorter, yet when I replaced the 3" cylinder with the 2 1/2" cylinder, the difference was negligible. I'm unable to put much weight on my feet. Instead, almost all of my weight is on my legs. This aggravates my sciatic and causes back pain - the very reasons I spent so much money on the chair to begin with. The chair itself is wonderful, the customer service was excellent, but now I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this expensive chair which I was hoping to use for the next 25 years. NOBODY is going to use this chair at its highest setting. If only I could get it lower . . . (Invoice No. 24354)

We purchased 5 of these chairs for a 911 center. They are used 24-7 by our staff. The only downfall that we have noticed is that my staff that are shorter stature have difficulty reaching the floor. This may be able to be fixed by removing a piece of the lift but we have not had time to try it yet. The product has very good support in the back and seat area. Highly recommend this chair for usage in 911 centers.

Money well spent...I wanted a chair made in America and sprung for the ERA chair. No regrets!

Use it for office work, it's great for the purpose it was purchased with great comfort for my back condition with exception to the non-adjustable arm rest.
