“I bought this chair without being able to test one out locally. Overall it's a great chair, lots of adjustments, it's built like a tank and very comfortable. I personally found the back and headrest to be the most comfortable of any chair I've owned (except maybe my Lazyboy type chair which I don't get much work done in, lol) The few issues I speak of are minor. #1 would be the lack of locking on the armrest adjustments so anytime you bump or shift the armrest moves out of position, very infuriating. The other issue is the same as all mesh chairs. There's a "œsweet spot" on the base for your rear end, if you don't fit or sit right in that spot, the bottom is very uncomfortable. Men tend to sit "˜manspread' so the front corner edges that hold the mesh hurt the underside of your legs if you don't sit with your legs straight in front of you. I ended up using a thin memory foam type cushion on the bottom and that was enough to avoid that issue. The last quibble which is quite common unfortunately is the lack of infinite adjustment for the backrest recline lock, for the life of me I don't understand why these high end chairs don't have that feature. Why someone designing the chair determines what angle I like to sit and only having it lock at a specific angle is ludicrous at this price point. I'd give this chair a full 5 stars if they would have it able to lock at any angle of recline that I, the owner and user determine, and would prefer a way to lock the armrest pads once adjusted, they're way too loose.”
“I would say just about everything about this chair is great. The armrest are probably the best I've ever used, the mesh is really comfortable, and has a lot of great adjustments.
The one thing that forced me to return it is the back. Maybe different body shapes will have a different experience. Me personally (6' 200lbs) found that I couldn't get the backrest to stop making me slouch overtime. The upper part of the backrest seems a bit tighter/firm than the lower, and the lumbar support is putting pressure under that. So what happens is I would end up curling my back into between these 2 areas are pushing against me into where it is less pronounced and softer. So I don't feel like I get support for the middle of my back which is exacerbated by the fact there is a small gap between where the lumbar and backrest meet.”
