“The workstation is used by our program manager that spends much of his time working computor programing. It allows him the flexibility to stand or sit and helps with back and neck fatigue.”
“This is a well constructed desk, it looks good too. I can recommend it. Assembly requires some blood sweat and tears. I'm semi handy, have the right tools but not very smart and it took me about 4.5 hours. The directions could be more detailed. Much of the time spent was learning curve. If I did a second unit the time would be one to two hours. We saved a good deal of money buy putting it together our selves. Had we bought assembled at a local store the cost would have been more than double. We also bought a flexible tube that conceals the cords. If you're interested in a neat looking work space do consider buying something to help hide the cords and wires.”
“I travel and work from home. When home I'm either on-line or on the phone 8-10 CONTINUOUSLY. Lunch might be 20 min. at best. Though I tried to stand and stretch my older home has small rooms and not much space for walking while on the phone, or just doing some stretches. By the end of the day my tail-bone was killing me! Though I had to buy out of my own pocket, it was an expensive but worth it purchase. I can now stand for as much of the day as I want and my butt, legs and back all appreciate it! I also am more clear-headed later in the day. I chalk it up to increased blood flow. I've sent several colleagues a link to BeyondTheOfficeDoor.com with a strong recommendation. PS - I've had this for about 3 months now. ZERO problems. (They seemed to have fixed the "holes-not-lining-up-with-legs" problem). I rate this BUY.”
“We use this table in one of our classrooms for an individual who is in a wheelchair. The bowed front lets him move close to his work space and is much more comfortable than a standard table.”
“Installation wasn't too bad. If you have the 60-72" wide, and are using the long channel for the wires, move it back a few inches toward the front of the desk even if there are no pilot holes. Otherwise back brace will be in the way to screw. It did not move at first, but called cust serve and just need to reboot. I LOVE IT SO Far!! Saw a desk like this used by younger workers, and was impressed that they thought it was important. Find also large tele centers like Zappo's uses them too! GMTA.”
