“Pouches definitely have strong minty smell when opened from package. I put out the pouches in the attic the next day bec of a mouse ( or probably large rat) that I kept hearing. It has been about a week now. No sound from the mouse from day one. I told my sister to use this product as she has a neighbor who fosters wild rats (remember the movie Ben) she has horses and dogs so no poisons. This is excellent substitute esp as cooler fa. temps may now drive mice inside houses”
