“To make a long story somewhat shorter, my wife and I found ourselves with 12 cats from a household of two cats and a dog. One of the cats followed our pet cat home one day when she got out of the house. Little did we know that this cat was pregnant and ready to deliver within a week of arriving at our home. This cat delivered six kittens. While we didn't mind the kittens, it became apparent that mom was carrying fleas with as a bonus.
