“While mine haven't attracted any flies or gnats yet, I know they will when there are more in my home. I live next to an apple packing business and because of the bins they stack by our homes, less than 75' away, the bins get a vinegar smell that brings hundreds of thousands of fruit flies. They come in every time I open a door and they even find their way in through the air holes in the window sills. So, during the summer I get a few hundred coming in. For now, I have my 2 plugged in, in 2 different rooms and they act as perfect night lights. They give off a pretty shade of purple light. They will do a lot towards keeping my home fly free especially during our rainy weather when the flies come in.”
