“3-ring A4 binders seem to be a rarity these days, but having embarked upon a project which entails putting some 500 sheets of A4 paper into 9 existing 3-ring folders, I decided it was a better option to find a 3-hole punch, rather than buy 9 new binders. 3-hole punches are hard to find, but this one fits the bill. The holes are an exact match - 4 1/4 inches between centres, 1/4 inch wide and 1/4 inch from the paper edge. The only downside is that there is no guide to position each set of holes in exactly the same position as the previous sheet(s).Hence only 4 stars. I bodged round this by pulling the slightly flexible 'bits' tray to an appropriate position, with its lip acting as a paper stop. A bit Heath Robinson, but it works, provided you permanently mark the base of the tray with the required position.”
