“I like these shears. The only concern that I have is that the blades are riveted to the handles. There is a possibility that with rust, wear, and time they could come loose, but only time will tell. I will keep them well oiled to help avoid this. The pluses are: (a) apparently solid metal handles, versus wood or plastic extensions which can wear loose. (b) a nice angle from the blade to the handles (c) the slightly compact size reduces the risk of clipping the bushes or flowers that you are cutting around. It is handy to have a longer pair of shears as well, but I would not be unhappy if this was my only pair. Verdict: good.”
