“the Vac formed mouldings were of poor quality and really flimsy trimming the wall sides to get a reasonable fit for bonding was quite a task. mainly because of the side walls of the vac formed part were too thin. The base again very thin and needs reinforcement in my case i used MDF. The vac formed mouldings also had many little dimples all over the surfaces which need to be removed easy enough to do i just didn't expect so many. The plastic injection mouldings were of better quality still needing a reasonable amount of work to clean up the flash. This is a build that needs a lot of time and patience if your going to do it right. Had i seen the item before i purchased it i probably would not have bought the item. I have now built the kit after a lot of cleaning up and trimming and adding in support pieces to aid rigidity. I've now got as far as the base coat. I think from now on it will progress more smoothly. I hope.”
