“I'm not a great fan of Hornby rolling stock, but this particular item is extremely good. It's certainly vastly better than the Railroad version of the same thing which is actually wrong in some details: eg no first class stickers on the windows. (But thanks to Fox Transfers that can easily be changed). The only criticism of M15679 is the lack of the yellow strip at the top of the coach above and to mark out the first class area. But that is not actually a fault. At first, when BR introduced the all maroon coach livery, there was no such yellow strip. That came later. So overall, a really good buy.”
