“Not sure why they are deemed weekend kits as there is several weeks enjoyment ahead of me. Isn't this a cheap hobby when the time element is considered? The parts are very neatly & crisply moulded (UK spelling here) & the bonus is many spare parts for your spares box. Transfers (that dates me!) are precisely printed. Etched seat belts. Canopy can be modelled (more Brit spelling) open or closed; if modelled open you may wish to seek more brass etchings, although the detail as it stands is very good. Cautionary note though: I am going to research the colour (more Brit spelling...hard to believe we speak the same language) schemes before committing this excellent kit to the spray gun as I find the indicated topside colours of 70/71 somewhat at odds with an undersurface of 76 and I somewhat suspect the greens may becomes topside greys (more Brit spelling), especially in the Norwegian theatre of operations. And it may just be that cockpit interior is not 02, but Black 66. Who knows? A wee bit research is all part of the fun of modelling. Overall: excellent value for money. Go for it!”
