“It was a present from my mum for wrongly admonishing me as a little girl. She had baked some rock buns and insisted I should eat them when I complaint, but when she tasted them she found they were inedible - something had gone wrong. Unusual for her. I never forgot it and recently reminded her. She said how sorry she was for admonishing me and send me the rooster pie funnel to make up for my tears. I was delighted to receive it and made a chicken mushroom pie the next day. It is lovely to look at - and functional, too.”
