“I have had my heart set on getting rid of toxins in the home. I really wanted non toxic livingroom furniture. Not an easy task to find solid wood, chemical flame retardant free furniture! The few options were like futons and they were quite frankly clunky and ugly looking, like a bed folded in half. I stumbled on Cabinfield after tons of research. I contacted them and asked them if I could swap in natural upholstery materials (like latex foam instead of polyurethane foam, wool wrap instead of Dacron etc.). They said yes, I could ship the materials to their Craftsmen .....and they made us GORGEOUS solid wood sofa, Morris chair, ottoman, and hinged seating bench. The Craftsmen did an amazing job. We chose leather and the leather is thick and sturdy and looks luxurious, yet feels so soft to sit on. Extremely happy with comfort of the item, the quality of the workmanship, and the fine detailed solid wood furniture. We ordered it unfinished and my husband finished it with a natural oil rub. It looks amazing in our newly renovated livingroom! Highly recommend and very impressed they accommodated our custom request!
