“Received my Heartland Recliner last summer and it is supportive, comfortable, sturdy and absolutely beautiful. I'm 6' tall and it fits me like a hand in glove. I sit in it a lot and read and it always feels great. Actually not sure if I enjoy sitting in more or just admiring its beauty. My favorite chair ever. Great craftsmanship all around.”
“We bought 2 of these recliners. The work is excellent and we are satisfied with the appearance. However, when the seat is upright (not reclined) the angle of the seatback is uncomfortable. The back leans too far - so we need a pillow in order to sit up. I wish we had known - before paying so much for 2 chairs that are not easy to sit in. We're disappointed. Living in Florida, we had no way to "try these out" before buying. Lesson learned. Always try before you buy.”
“Regardless of the following-I'm excited about my order and looking forward to July 2021 when my chair will arrive! I've done extensive research and Cabinfield products appear to be well made with exceptional craftsmanship. I suggest your marketing department pay attention to the website: picture - description matching (for fabric, wood and stain). For my product choice, the picture description was misleading-implying it was genuine leather, when it was a faux leather. It would have benefitted me as a consumer, if the description matched exactly. I loved the picture, but couldn't find the fabric in the genuine leather choices and the staff guessed at the fabric in the photo (it was really faux leather.) Also, it would have saved a lot of time and angst for me and your staff if your software provided the consumer the ability to change the fabric, wood and stain of the pictured item. Toggling back and forth on separate pages of wood, stain and fabric samples made it impossible to visualize and choose for such an investment, requiring me to see samples. The technology exists-please consider incorporating it. Lastly-I don't know how large or small your company is, but there was a lack of communication about the samples and postal tracking and called several times for clarification. As a consumer, it is my right to ask for clarification. I didn't appreciate being told that I was causing anxiety at the company with my questions and maybe I should cancel my order. I was just wanting some questions answered. Maybe the staff working from home should stop doing the dishes and pay attention to "Customer Service." The bottom-line is, if the website was able to provide more accurate and user friendly information, I could have placed my order without any staff interaction. I had questions, Sorry...Not sorry.”
“The recliners we received from Cabinfield exceeded our expectations. The natural cherry finish with black leather upholstery looks great. The reclining mechanism keeps you in place when fully reclined and the seats provide excellent support and comfort. Highly recommend these recliners for style, comfort and functionality.”
“The Cabinfield recliner was purchased as a gift for my husband. However, he found the chair to be short for his height (6ft) and narrow for his size (206 lb). That being said, the recliner was passed to me and I simply love it. The wood, the leather cushions and structure of the chair are beautifully made. The only reason I gave this review a 4 star rather than a 5 star is because the chair does not have a recline lever. I need my full body weight to push it back to the position I want. A minor detail for me on a structurally sound and attractive chair.”
“Love the leather, but the seat cushion is extremely hard and either more or a softer pad is needed inside the leather. Neither my husband nor I can sit on the chair for more than 1 hr. Can you give me a softer seat cushion or tell me where I can have the cushion fixed? The finish and workmanship are really nice, just too hard.”
No one has ever complained that the cushion is too hard. We can make a softer cushion but it will not hold up well. Let us know if that is something you will like us to price for you.
