“I purchased a single item -- an entertainment/tv cabinet. The product is built well, very nice craftsmanship. Cabinfield even provided me, upon request, several wood samples to help me select the particular wood stain I was seeking. Once I received the cabinet, the cabinet was not quite the color stain I had hoped for, per my selection among the samples that were provided. Bottom line: a very nice wood cabinet that blends well with other mission/amish furniture we own; however there is no guarantee that the color stain selected will be a very close match with the stain on the product you receive.”
Thank you, Gary, for taking the time to write to us. Your experience describes one of the unique features of furniture that is individually crafted and stained by hand. Each tree is different, meaning that the wood from a particular cut of lumber will take the stain differently than any other. We do our best to provide stain samples that are very nearly equal to the final product. However, since our furniture is not prefabricated, we can't promise an exact replica of the stain sample. I am glad to hear that even so, your new furniture does blend with your existing decor after all.
