“The desk arrived on time and was in good condition upon delivery. It is shipped as two pieces, which requires the buyer to assemble with provided wood screws (~8 screws). If you're not proficient with a cordless drill, you may want to consider having it assembled by someone else. My main complain is that there are significant portions of the desk made with composite wood / veneer. All of the front/side panels are veneer as well as the keyboard tray and cabinet/drawer boxes. The desk top, legs and drawer/door panels appear to be made from solid wood. This was a disappointment as I expected Amish furniture to be made completely of solid wood, especially considering I paid few hundred dollars more for quarter sawn white oak.”
