I want to clarify about the liftgate, as well as the assembly. This glider is usually delivered by motor freight carrier. They provide curbside service. A lift gate is essential, as they will not remove it from the truck otherwise. And we are charged extra for the lift gate.
Due to a miscommunication, we mistakenly assembled the glider for you. (of course, as it was our mistake, we did not charge you for it.) When we provide assembly, part of the price of the assembly is that we don't deliver by motor freight.. as the truckdriver of a motor freight truck will obviously not assemble it. We have an installer deliver it on his truck and he does remove it from his truck. This shipping method is more expensive than motor freight. It does not require a lift gate as he removes it from the truck and assembles it as part of the service. So, to clarify. The assembly charge includes the upgrade to a more expensive shipping method. This shipping method is not curbside delivery, but they actually assemble it. And you did not pay this assembly charge, as indeed you did not order it. But we did ship it to you via the upgraded shipping which is provided when a customer does order assembly.
