“First up: I can't fault the retailer. A+++++ would buy again.
After ordering the wrong ones (the larger ones for say a kitchen sink) instead of the smaller ones, and realising they are the same price, I have come to realise how much of a rip off opting for a proprietary solution like this is. You have to take their word for it that the filters are somehow amazing and do the job of 2 simpler filters. With some research this seems unlikely. But by the time you spent hours finding a housing and filter, with optional extra filter (forget terms for both as they are different, and my research was a while ago and it's late), and have faith that the cheap Temu-like thing is safe, or opt for one of the "trusted" retailers - you've spent heaps of time and money anyway. So given how easy it is to purchase these cartridges, how easy it is to change them, and if you trust that they are doing what they say they are doing, sure it's good value for money. I just can't stand the "you have to buy our over-priced proprietary thing that's not compatible with other brands" business model. Even on sale these are ridiculous by comparison. And if I knew that I could just filter the whole tap from the start I wouldn't have had extra plumbing f**kery to add, and wouldn't have had to install the satellite tap, but that's just what I thought I had to do, and that's on me.
Apologies for the long review, but I kept receiving emails to review for months so here it is.
As for water taste. If you watch anybody attempt to perform blind taste tests to see if tap water or bottled water is better the conclusion is usually that people seem to prefer that which they are used to. So my saying I love the taste (in Brisbane) it means very little.”
“Everything was Good until delivery, 3rd party delivery which was all caught on video, delivery driver walks up to our front veranda deck, bangs the front veranda deck with the package twice, shouts is there anybody home then throws the package on the deck. No attempt was made to access the veranda via 5 steps & ring the door bell. Very amateurish, unprofessional & absolutely reckless to deliver package this way”
