The limited-edition design is inspired by the iconic original in a new, black DLC-plated stainless steel finish with a 3-piece case construction that features a metal dial in blue and four contrasting subdials. This stylish men’s sport watch also features a 1/5 second chronograph that measures up to 12 hours, an instantaneous flyback zero reset button, a tachymeter, power reserve indicator and date, luminous hands and markers, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The distinctive design is powered with Citizen’s patented Eco-Drive technology that converts energy from any type of light and never needs a battery. Water resistance to 200 meters. “This is my second Citizen Calibre 2100. I acquired the first one around 2006. It still works and became a gift to my girlfriend a while ago. I bought a different Citizen watch afterwards but it recently died after hitting a rock in a bad fall. I spent hours online trying to select a new watch but I couldn’t help it, I fell in love with the new Calibre 2100. The deep metallic blue with black sub-dials plus the dark gunmetal band spoke to me. My last Citizen was good but I never completely liked, or got used to, the combination of analog with a digital screen. During my online search I found my old Calibre 2100 friend in a new and improved version. No digital screen, one hundred percent analog. Actually, the date was the only moving number but it was a window, not a digital screen. In fact, I wish the calendar was in needle and dial form; that would have been perfection. I love my new, all analog, Citizen watch. I didn’t realize how much I missed analog functions until my encounter with this new old friend.”
