“After exhaustive research, I was delighted to receive my Citizen Zenshin. It hits on all of my essential criteria: - Size (39mm) - Materials (titanium, sapphire) - Dial color/texture (it’s a beautiful denim blue that goes with everything. Texture is a nuanced rough paper-like pattern. Looks fantastic with casual, business casual and even more formal wear) - Case (not flashy or showy; subdued, classy and elegant without watch snob pretension) - Caliber (reliable, accurate, and no battery changes!) - Complications (not too complicated: just the essentials I wanted: Day/Date with a lovely font) Price (under $500) It’s hard to overstate how elated I am with this watch. “I was first drawn to this particular model because of its classic style. It's just a beautiful watch. I also liked the day/date feature and that it never needs a battery. The fact that it has a 100 meter water resistance and a sapphire crystal is just gravy. Setting the time and the day or date is easy if you follow the directions. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this watch to anyone.”

“It’s even better in person. The dial is just the right size, not too big, and the leather-like dial surface is a really nice touch. I really like the links with the matte finish on the main surface and polished metal on the smaller rounded linkage. The whole aesthetic is a bit retro, including the day font. Wonderful watch, it’s a pleasure to look at.”

“I like the titanium case and blue dial. I can wear it in the shower and water doesn't get wet inside. I used the sizing instructions and had the band adjusted by Citizen. The watch fit perfectly. I'm very please with this purchase.”
