“Seeing the picture in your e-mail made me a little wistful: my Citizen watch (which I love) has been in the shop for over a month now for repair --- about as long as I had it before it broke. I get that everything has its mechanical stress limits, especially a piece of jewelry, but at this price point, I expect the thing to survive well over a normal year without needing a repair that takes six weeks and over 25% of the price of the watch.”
