Commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Empire Strikes Back with a Limited Edition Star Wars™ Bespin timepiece from CITIZEN. Named for the planet Bespin, the watch's design visually recreates the orange pattern of the carbon-freezing chambers deep within the planet where Han Solo is encased in carbonite. A grey IP case and bracelet complement a black dial with orange hands, white markers and a blue and red light saber at 3 and 9 o'clock. The light sabers represent the most iconic battle in the Star Wars saga: the ultimate betrayal, where Luke learns Lord Vader is his father. The case back is etched with the Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary logo. Limited to 1,980 pieces, for the year the film debuted. Powered by Eco-Drive technology, this Star Wars watch never needs a battery.

“I bought this watch about a week ago and it just sits beautifully on the wrist. It goes very well with formal and casual clothing and enhances the look. It is noiseless and eco-friendly since it charges through exposure to any light source - although, the sun is the best source. Another great part is that it is a limited edition watch at a great price point. It truly is value for money and will get you all the compliments you want.”

“I looked at all the starwars watches and settled on this one as it is very subtle. It has the sophistication of an "adult" watch while satisfying my inner child starwars nerd. I also did not get the band sized which i was happy about because my local jewelry store had no problem sizing it and they only took out two links. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is there is no date on it.”

“I’ve always been a Star Wars fan. I always wanted an Eco Drive. The Bespin fit the bill. It is a sharp looking watch, well made, and very comfortable. Add the water resistance, accuracy, and fair price, and you have a really great watch. Sized it myself in ten minutes and popped it on my wrist.”

“I bought this watch to round out my collection with one that has a metal band. Since I’ve never really been one who is strong with the dark side of the force this one fit the bill, and it has not disappointed me. Every time I look down at it I get sucked right into the middle of one of the most intense scenes of the original trilogy. The colors and partners on the face take me right in the middle of the carbon freezing chamber every time I see it. And the black stainless steel case and band pique my imagination that the eco-drive should be quite well protected. If it survived the freezing process that is. Suffice it to say I love this watch. It’s the most fun thing I can put on in the morning and still wear into a meeting. Too bad I can’t really drive a twin-pod cloud car to get there (yet). It may not have been intended, but every time I see the two highly polished stripes on the bracelet, I’m reminded of those awesome vehicles.”
