Inspired by the beautiful oceans that unite the world, the watches of Citizen's UNITE with BLUE series join the colors of the seven seas on one 100% recycled polycarbonate dial. This example, which comes as part of the dive-ready Promaster collection, marks a unique take on the classic sports style. The robust silver-tone stainless steel exterior ensures up to 200 meters of water resistance, making use of a 4 o'clock screw-down crown placement and an easy-grip bezel executed in a two-tone design is reminiscent of a sparkling emerald green ocean. A strap made from biomass-based polyurethane, which includes plant-based materials, secures the timepiece to the wrist. The highly-legible dial is brought to life through pigment-free ink that uses light – the same light that powers the Eco-Drive technology within – to reflect off the surface of the ink microstructures and create an array of aquatic shades. Caliber E168.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis style is part of the UNITE with BLUE collection, which highlights Citizen’s commitment to sustainability including a Promaster Dive model and CITIZEN L Bianca style. Sustainably powered by the brand’s proprietary Eco-Drive*1 technology, both timepieces feature a structural color dial*2, inspired by the oceans that unite the world.

“My third Promaster and it's beautiful. I look for unique watches that fit my tastes in fashion and function, while being reasonable in price. Citizen delivers on all counts, your watches are eye-catching to not only the wearer but to a casual observer. The straps are solid and stylish, faces are bold, and case constructions are esthetically as well as structurally sound. The face on this model in particular is as advertised, it is a thing of beauty. It constantly reminds me of the oceans I love, while being a source of wonder for the eye. The melding of blues and greens gives one the illusion of staring into the deep blue from above, creating the effect of bottomlessness. You have succeeded in producing a timepiece that reflects one of my true passions, and for that,I am grateful. Thank you Citizen.”

“Have had this watch for several years and it is exactly what I had been looking for. Previously had several other dive watches and either the battery always seemed to be going dead, the luminous dial was only visible for a very short time or in one case both. This one just works. No worries about battery life and the dial is easily visible all night long. Really like the plastic band that comes on it; very light, comfortable and durable. Have replaced it once but that was after a few years of hard use. The watch to buy if you want an attractive, reliable timepiece that always works with no drama and no worries.”

“This watch is even more beautiful in “person”. My husband collects watches, and this one fits in perfectly with his Omegas, Breitlings, Tags, all for an AMAZING price. We couldn’t believe how Gorgeous this watch is, at such a Low cost!! He gets tons of compliments when he wears it. The face is So Vibrant and the colors of the dial around it accent it so well. It’s a BEAUTIFUL watch!!”

“I've had this watch a little over 2 weeks and can't stop wearing it. It's become my daily watch of choice. I loved the looks of this watch when I saw it and decided to buy it. It's my first foray into Citizen / Eco-Drive watches. What has amazed me is the accuracy of this watch. It's within COSC parameters and hasn't lost a second when compared to the NIST Official US Time website - Time.gov. This is really impressive. I also like the fact that I won't have to buy batteries for this watch. The Lume on this watch is very good when compared to other watches in this price range and lasts a long time. The one thing that I did do is upgrade the band to a stainless shark mesh band. I really like mesh bands and now I have the rubber strap that came with the watch and the stainless mesh band. Oh, and it comes with a really cool Divers Tank watch case. You can't go wrong with this watch.”
