“I bought the Promaster Tough a few weeks ago from an AD and was immediately impressed with the fit and finish. The titanium coating has a nice dark color to it and so far hasn’t shown a single scratch. The sapphire crystal feels every bit as tough as the steel one piece case. The watch is heavy but feels solid and indestructible. The steel titanium bracelet is very comfortable and seems to be very well made and compliments the thin case. So far it’s keeping very accurate time, I haven’t had to adjust it yet.”

“Recently traded my 1996 Eco-drive in for this model. I am not a fan of the huge watches now worn by others. This watch is my compromise. It is larger than my previous Citizen and I am getting used to it. Sleek minimalist design, yet functional analog elegance. Thanks Citizen”

“Bought this from the citizen store and couldn’t be happier. Looks and feels much more expensive than it costs. Sapphire crystal is great and the bracelet is very comfortable. If it is as durable as Citizen claims this watch will be a real winner.”

“Wife bought the eco drive protester tough for me for Xmas beautiful hand some watch .watched the setting video read the tutorial every thing BEFORE trying to set it. Well after breaking my thumb nail I was next going to use a pocket knife to pull the crown stem out nothing but pure luck made me try to turn the crown cc well it worked I was able to pull out the crown .had it not been lucky to try turning it I guarantee I would have broke it trying to pull the crown out wards you should clarify this in your instructions .also the date window really ? Way to small other than that I love this watch!”

“8 purchased this at the Citizen store in Time Square a few months ago while traveling in New York. The sales lady was awesome And new her stuff. Even asking about discontinued and rare pieces, she knew it all! I decided on this Promaster Tough. I am so glad I did. It is very sleek and wears well with a dress shirt as well as a t-shirt. The smooth case back is comfortable to wear all day long. This watch was on sale when I bought it. Hafter having it and wearing it as much as I did, I would pay full retail if this were to get lost or stolen. This is one of fifteen watches in my collection. I have 5 citizens, the Promaster line is very tough. This watch will be kept in service for many many years. Of my 5 citizens watches I have aquired over many years, none have had any problems. I fully expect this beautiful watch to be just as good or better than my older Citizen watches. Buy it for yourself or a friend, you will not be disapointed. The only thing I wish they improve on the next rendition is a larger date window and perpetual calendar. If it had that, this would be the perfect watch! Love my citizens.”

“I received this wonderful watch recently and overall this was an exceptional purchase. On the positive side, this watch looks great, has a clean dial, very accurate and built tough as the name implies. The weight to me is appropriate given the case diameter and substantial build quality. On the negative side, the date dial window is hard to read, perhaps enlarging and framing the window would be a nice touch. The crown at the 4 o’clock position would add a stylish look as well as a bit of comfort to the wearer. The band is comfortable but would benefit with additional micro adjustments to dial in that custom fit. To me these negatives are by no means a deal breaker, just an area to improve upon for future iterations or design. This is an awesome watch and I am very glad to own it.”
